The Answers:

How do I enroll?

Step 1: You need to be an active policy holder, participating in a selected Single or Family Funeral Cover benefit.

Step 2: Select the Optional Referral Benefit (CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program). With this option selected, you may become a CONNECTA (a customer who has introduced an Affiliate within 90 days of inception and eligible for Marketing and Referral income)

Step 3: You have to accept the "Terms" which you can open and read before continuing with your application.

Step 4: You need to complete and sign the downloaded terms and conditions and fax it back to us for final activation of your Policy and Membership. (for your convenience, an e-mail will be sent to your mailbox with a direct link to the "Terms" document for your convenience.)

How do I invite my Affiliates?

Option 1: (Current)

As a member, you may promote your subscribed products to any of your Affiliates (friends, family and associates) directly to MEMA via E-mail, Telephone, Blog, Social Media or any method you prefer, as long as they have your cellphone number to quote.

Any Affiliate will be asked who introduced him/her and one of the options is to quote a cellphone number. Once quoted, such Affiliate will be linked to the promoter for life, on his/her first level, according to the CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program rules.

It is thus vital to inform your Affiliates to quote your cellphone or your MEMA membership number at all times to get them linked to your Affiliate Program, and part of your team!

 

Option 2: (Forthcoming)

MEMA is currently still working on this functionality. Once completed, members will have this as an additional option.

Step 1: Inside your Business Portal/Backoffice you will have the option to send pre-customized e-mails to your Affiliates, directly from your Business Portal, promoting your subscribed risk benefits,  inviting your Affiliates to enroll in the MEMA Risk Benefits and becoming a CONNECTA, like yourself.

Step 2: When one of your Affiliates respond to your e-mail invite (within the period of 3 months), such Affiliate will automatically be directed back to your personal MEMA website and automatically placed directly on your 1st level, since you are the direct promoter of such Affiliate.

How do I know who has joined and how do I monitor them?

Step 1: Log-on and access your Business Portal.

Step 2: Inside your Business Portal you will have a set of navigation tabs. One of them shall be “My Team” If you click on it, you will be able to view all your members that you and your team members referred. 

Financial (earnings and deductions) and other data about your team is currently being send on a weekly basis via email to your registered email address.

Are there any costs involved to become a CONNECTA?

Yes, in order to cover the costs of managing your administration and software, you will have to subscribe to the CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program (R35 per Month)

Can I lose my CONNECTA status?

Yes, this happens when a member has NOT invited a member him/herself within 90 days of inception (first payment).

MEMA does not believe that any member should continuous pay for a service he/she does not benefit from and therefore MEMA will cancel the CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program subscription of such member.

Such member will become a costumer, and only partake in the range of product subscriptions.

How many CONNECTA memberships may I have?

Only one. More than that constitutes a pyramid scheme!

What benefits do I get if I am NOT subscribed to the CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program, but still want to refer my Affiliates

Sorry but we want people who want to make money and get empowered by our trainings. If you only just want a funeral cover please apply somewhere

Why don't I receive any form of Earnings for the 3rd CONNECTA?

MEMA wants to make sure to pay as much of the profits to CONNECTAS to be able to break even quickly. The 3rd CONNECTA is a way for MEMA to make up for profits lost and to maintain financial stability.

What is a roll-up system?

In the regrettable event that a CONNECTA policy should lapse, MEMA shall apply a roll-up system to prevent vacant positions and a loss of potential income. This means that your levels will be optimally occupied by active CONNECTAS.

When does MEMA pay relevant Remuneration fees?

MEMA will reconcile all contributions received between the 1st to the last day of a month, and compensate members accordingly on the 15th calendar day of the following month.

What is the Break-Even Point (BEP)?

Do I have to successfully promote a minimum number of affiliates before I qualify for Referral incomes?

Yes. The minimum is 1

​

For how long do I get paid?

You get paid 100% of the calculated amount, for the duration of your active CONNECTA membership.

​

What happens with my eanings when I die?

The nominated beneficiary of the deceased is eligible to take over and continue with the CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program and continue to receive the Marketing and CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program income where applicable.

What risks do I have?

Instead of taking all the profits for ourselves, MEMA redistributes the profits among all CONNECTAS. This is based on a royalty / referral system.

The logic here is simple: We teach people how to get a product for free and if you are willing to teach your invited CONNECTAS to do the same, you will actually start generating an income for yourself.

The risk is thus transferred to you.

Lets explain: If you don't want to invite people and teach them to do duplicate what you have done, you will be at risk to pay again, and again and again for your subscription, until you actually invite 2 CONNECTAS.

MEMA will however stop deducting your CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program Fee premium after 90 days, if you have not introduced a CONNECTA within the first 90 days of registration. MEMA does not want you to keep on paying for something that you don’t use or benefit from! You also have the choice to cancel your CONNECT@MEMA Affiliate Business Program by yourself at any stage prior to the 90 days if you feel that you do not want to stay a CONNECTA.

I am already with another network or Affiliate company – may I join?

At MEMA, we do not discriminate against “other” Affiliate -, Network -, Referral -, Work-from-home and or MLM Companies or their members. We don't impose any jurisdiction or limitations, should you wish to become an CONNECTA with MEMA.

We believe that our solutions are there for all to benefit from, even though you may have existing benefits with other companies who offer similar Affiliate program solutions.
